We support organization locally as well as international not only with are money but also with our time and talent. As the Lord leads us, we will help those that are in need whether spiritually, emotionally or financially. We will not be hearers of God‘s word only but we will be doers of His word.
We go to Cook County Jail every 4th Saturday of the month to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ to women who are in jail. We are able to minister to the women thru Christian Life Center of Tinley Park, IL under the Leadership of Aaron Truesdell. We are always in need of bibles, Christian teaching material to handout, personal hygiene items (travel size) and things that would inspire, encourage and bring healing to the women. If you are interested in joining our team or your able to provide any of the items listed above. Please contact us for further details.
Since we have been going to the Jail we have ministered to hundreds of women for the past two years and have seen God do a mighty work in their lives. Our main goal is to love them as Christ loves the church. For we know that love conquers all, love never fails and love covers a multitude of sins.
COA has been empowering more than 100 individuals with disabilities and their families for over 10 years. The scope of this support reaches 5 provinces of Zimbabwe. COA has advocated for learning opportunities, job creation and better living conditions for their members. COA is now called to launch a school for those with special needs who cannot be accommodated in mainstream schools. In order to do this COA is seeking to secure resources to engage a director full time so that she/he can concentrate on COA business with 100% Level of Effort (LOE). The COA Director will ensure the development of this new school program well as oversee COA’s existing support group empowerment goals. COA has recruited several volunteers as well as local financial supporters of this effort who are exited and ready to do their part! COA also has a long-standing relationship with Elim Christian Services in the U.S. who will continue to provide special education / vocational training of best practices to COA programs.
Blessing is a member of the COA Ruwa Support Group. She is extremely bright and joyful. With your support, Blessing can be one of COA’s first students to enrol and begin pursing her hopes and dreams for being a change agent in her community. Upon training, the parent volunteers and staff will work closely with the director to develop academic and vocational curriculum, goals, lessons and activities that are specifically developed to reveal and grow Blessing’s potential. The same will be done for all other students, creating a model for individualized programming for persons with disabilities in Zimbabwe
God has called Blessing and others to be a light in their community. We hope you will join us in launching this school and community training program in Zimbabwe.
