We believe in serving those that are in need. We do not want to be a people that have faith only because James 2:17-18 says “thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works is dead. But someone will say, You have faith, and I have works. Show me your faith without your works and I will show you my faith by my works.” Make no mistake our confidence in not in ourselves but in the Lord who leads and guides us to the work that He has prepared for us. Scream Evangelistic Outreach Ministries a 501c3 Not-for-profit Organization Advocates for Domestic Violence Survivors since 2007; 1200 S. 5th Ave Maywood Illinois 60153. Currently a resource base only, with the goal of acquiring transitional housing to assist women in the community.

Oil O' Joy House is a non profit community domestic violence organization. We were established in 2005 to provide a Christian response to domestic abuse. Our mission is to provide violence prevention services to women and children and the love of Jesus. In 2012, we were excited about being the recipient of a donated building. The building was in "as is" condition. We have made several repairs, however there are many more repairs to be made.
The building is utilized as our training and counseling facility. We provide job readiness skills, computer literacy, group counseling sessions, and individual counseling. The donations will pay for electrical repairs, water meter, hot water tank, liability insurance and repairs from flood damage.
Domestic Violence is at an all time high. We hear about it on TV, radio, Social Media, from family and friends. Domestic Violence is not a private matter, it is a societal issue and a crime. You can help us help hurting women, by providing a safe, loving, supportive environment for women and children.
